I find myself on LinkedIn the most. It’s where I keep up with industry news, connect with talented professionals, and stay informed about the latest hiring trends. Plus, it’s a great platform for building relationships and networking with people who share my passion for recruitment.

What is the last book you read?

The last book I read was “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. I was really drawn to its practical tips on how to build and maintain good habits. It’s been incredibly helpful in organising my workflow and setting goals, both professionally and personally.

What are the essential skills for someone working in recruitment to have?

I believe the essentials are strong communication, empathy, and problem- solving skills. Being able to really listen and understand both clients’ and candidates’ needs is key. You also need to be adaptable and able to think on your feet, as the recruitment landscape can change quickly.

What does your day-to-day role entail?

My day-to-day role involves sourcing and interviewing candidates, liaising with clients to understand their hiring needs, and managing the recruitment process from start to finish. I also spend time networking and staying informed about industry developments to better
