We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and passionate Children Registered Manager to lead a newly established therapeutic children’s home supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated Children Registered Manager to shape the culture, practice, and success of a brand-new 3-bed therapeutic service. The successful Children Registered Manager will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment where children and young people can recover from adversity, build resilience, and achieve positive outcomes.
The service is committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic care that promotes emotional wellbeing, stability, independence, and long-term success for every young person supported.
About the Role
As a Children Registered Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of the home, ensuring the service operates in line with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, safeguarding legislation, and Ofsted requirements.
You will lead the development of a therapeutic and trauma-informed culture, ensuring children receive personalised support that promotes safety, emotional growth, education, and positive life outcomes.
Working closely with staff, therapists, families, social workers, and external professionals, you will oversee all aspects of care delivery, safeguarding, staffing, quality assurance, and service development.
This role is ideal for an experienced children’s home leader who is passionate about trauma-informed practice and excited by the opportunity to establish and grow a new service from the ground up.
