Job Scope:

We are seeking to recruit a Registered Manager to lead and manage our client’s Ofsted-registered services in London.The Registered Manager will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care for young people aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioral difficulties. As the Registered Manager, you will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations while fostering a safe and supportive environment. You will lead a team, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers, ensuring they are motivated and delivering high-quality care.

The Registered Manager will also be responsible for managing budgets, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring systems like ClearCare are used effectively. In this role, you will liaise with external agencies, safeguarding young people while maintaining professional relationships. The Registered Manager will implement quality assurance practices to continuously improve service standards. Additionally, you will be on call as part of a shared rota with other Registered Managers in the region. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within an expanding service, as our client plans to open additional homes.

 

Do you have?

  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children & Young People’s Services, or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to pass the Ofsted ‘fit’ test, demonstrating suitability for the role.
  • Extensive leadership experience in children’s homes or supported accommodation services, including successful strategic planning and initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, with experience applying them in practice.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding processes and the ability to effectively implement them.
  • Track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings in previous roles, with a focus on excellence in care.
