We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a compassionate and resilient Support Worker (Female Only) to join a specialist community rehabilitation service supporting women with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities. The successful candidate will support women with a range of complex mental health conditions, including personality disorders, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and learning disabilities. This role requires someone who is empathetic, emotionally resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide practical, emotional, and person-centred support to individuals living within specialist supported accommodation. You will manage an allocated caseload, develop and review support plans, complete risk assessments, and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to deliver holistic support. The role also involves supporting medication management, crisis intervention, safeguarding, and helping individuals maintain their homes and daily living skills.
This is a varied and rewarding role that would suit someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and supporting individuals through their recovery journey.
The service operates across a structured weekly rota. Shift patterns are typically Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday (preferences discussed at interview).
