The service is a well-established 4-bed residential home supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and complex needs.

About the Role

The Registered Manager holds overall operational responsibility for the service, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant delivery of care. You will oversee staffing, quality assurance, regulatory standards, and financial performance, while fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.

You will work closely with Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Support Workers to maintain excellent care standards and ensure the service continues to develop and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within a 4-bed residential setting
  • Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management to Deputy Managers and senior team members
  • Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation effectively
  • Utilise IT systems to monitor incidents, training, quality assurance, and occupancy levels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to support referrals and placements
  • Lead recruitment, induction, and continuous staff development initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement across service quality and operational performance

About You

  • Experience as a Registered Manager within Learning Disabilities and Autism services
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands
  • Proven experience building and maintaining external stakeholder relationships
  • Robust knowledge of care compliance frameworks and regulatory standards
  • Confident using systems and technology for reporting, quality monitoring, and operational oversight
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards) desirable
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for individuals with complex needs
