Describe your job in three words.
My role is rewarding because I have the opportunity to support people in finding roles where they can grow and feel valued. It’s dynamic, as every day brings new conversations, challenges, and learning opportunities. Most importantly, it’s meaningful because the work I do has a real impact on people’s careers and on organisations that rely on the right individuals to make a difference.
What are the essentials skills for someone working in recruitment to have?
To be successful in recruitment, strong empathy is essential to understand people’s motivations and perspectives. Excellent communication and active listening help build trust and ensure both candidate and client needs are clearly understood. Adaptability is also key, as recruitment is a fast-paced role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
What does your day-to-day role entail?
My role is centred on connecting with people to understand their goals, strengths, and needs. Each day involves meaningful conversations, thoughtful evaluation, and collaborating with the team to find the right people for the right company. It’s all about supporting others through the recruitment journey in a way that feels human and respectful.
What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?
The coolest thing I’m working on right now is connecting with new people and building meaningful relationships through my role, while continuously learning from my colleagues and growing as part of the team. At the same time, I’m training for an ultramarathon, which pushes me both mentally and physically and keeps me focused, disciplined, and motivated in all areas of life.

I’m inspired by the opportunity to grow alongside a supportive team while contributing to meaningful outcomes. Working in an environment that values innovation and continuous improvement keeps me motivated.
