everything from searching for information to storing files on Google Drive. Google simplifies my online
experience and makes it convenient.

What are the essential skills for someone working in recruitment to have?
Effective verbal and written communication, interviewing, noticing all selling opportunities to
candidates and negotiating terms with clients. Also, time management, adaptability, empathy,
problem-solving…
What does your day-to-day role entail?
My responsibility is to maintain the company database regarding candidates, but I also assist in
performing various administrative tasks. Additionally, my job is to follow the overall recruitment
process and policies and post role advertisements on the job boards to make all positions more visible
and approachable for candidates.
What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?
The most remarkable thing about my current role is that every day brings a new challenge and an
opportunity for growth as a new team member. It’s genuinely fascinating to gain insights into the
intricate details of our operational procedures and how they relate to managing the database. Data is
essential, but it’s important to consider how it influences our operations and decision-making. I’m
excited to learn more about these procedures, contribute significantly to the team’s success, and
continue to grow as a person.
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
As with any role, learning new things and new skills inspires me to want to become the best at what I
do. Since it is a varied role with plenty of opportunities to gain knowledge, having the chance to work
on my abilities and tackle challenges constantly is the best thing about it.
What challenges have you faced?
At the beginning, the entire recruitment process was quite a challenge for me, mainly because I didn’t
have any prior experience in this industry. However, I now recognize that these difficulties are
providing priceless learning opportunities. I appreciate the chance to learn new things every day, and
it’s very exciting to see how my understanding of the hiring process improves day by day.
