What are the essential skills for someone working in recruitment to have?

Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage the recruitment process and meet deadlines, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with candidates and clients. Furthermore, the ability to adapt to the ever-changing market conditions is a crucial factor for success in the dynamic field of recruitment.

What does your day-to-day role entail?

Sourcing potential candidates through various channels, conducting interviews and assessments, coordinating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, and managing the entire recruitment process. Additionally, staying updated on industry trends and best practices to improve recruitment strategies continuously.

What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

I’m on an exciting learning path to manage my way around the operational system for the recruitment process.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

Seeing candidates thrive in their new roles and witnessing the positive impact of your recruitment efforts on both candidates and companies is highly motivating and rewarding. Having said this – the opportunity to help individuals find meaningful opportunities and simultaneously assist organizations in achieving their goals by finding the right talent.

What challenges have you faced?

Coming from the recruiting industry myself, this is my first experience in the health sector; hence, I’m very excited about the journey ahead. I’m up for the challenge, and I’m already learning so much! I can’t wait to see what the future holds both for myself and the team.
