About the Role
As a Support Worker within the Specialised Trauma Service, you will support individuals experiencing complex and enduring mental health needs, including personality disorders, trauma, PTSD, self-harm behaviours, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, and schizophrenia.
This is a highly rewarding yet challenging role requiring resilience, emotional intelligence, and a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team while remaining self-motivated and accountable for delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Your focus will be on promoting independence, supporting individuals to achieve personal goals, maintaining safe living environments, and ensuring compliance with licence conditions where applicable.
The role operates on a rota basis across Monday to Sunday, working 40.25 hours per week in line with service needs.
